TRANSFER / RESALE OF RACE BIBS

You can find official tickets for sale from other participants who are unable to take part in the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half. When purchasing a ticket, payment is processed through Aarhus Motion, and the money is then transferred to the seller. This ensures a safe and secure transaction. Once you have paid for the ticket, it is automatically transferred to you, and the original owner can no longer use it. A service fee is added to the price, which is paid by the buyer.

How It Works:

1. Both runners must have a profile on aarhusmotion.dk.

2. The seller must log in to their profile on aarhusmotion.dk.

3. Select the ticket under "My Tickets."

4. Choose "Changes" and then "Sell/Transfer Ticket" for the specific ticket.

5. There are two options for buying and selling:

   • Sell to anyone.

   • Sell to someone you know.

COMPLETION TIME

The maximum completion time for the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half is 3 hours net. The 3-hour limit is monitored by cycling officials. If a participant exceeds the 3-hour time limit, it is their own responsibility to follow the general traffic regulations.

CLOAKROOM

Free storage for bags, valuables, etc., is available at the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half. Participants must use the designated cloakroom bag provided. When you drop off your bag, you will receive a sticker with a number, which should be placed on your race bib. Each participant is allowed to store one piece of baggage. Storage is at your own risk.

There are three cloakroom locations: Rådhuset, Musikhuset and Radisson parking lot. You must use the cloakroom assigned to your start group, as indicated on your race bib:

• Startgroup A→ Musikhuset*

• Start group B + C + Run With Me → Rådhuset*

• Start group D→ In the vans at the Radisson parking lot*

MINIMUM AGE

We do not recommend that children under 14 years old participate in the 21.0975 km race. However, they are very welcome to join as Run With Me participants.

BABY JOGGERS

Due to narrow passages along parts of the route, we advise against bringing a baby jogger or any wheeled items to the event, in consideration of other participants.

HEADPHONES

We recommend and encourage you to leave your headphones at home. Instead, you can enjoy the nature and its sounds. Additionally, it will be easier for you to hear if a runner or a samaritan is approaching from behind and needs to pass.

TIME

The finish time and split times are automatically recorded with a chip located on the back of your race bib. The bib must be worn visibly on the front of your t-shirt and must not be folded or bent.

There will be split times at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, 20 km, and 21.0975 km.

• Brutto time: From the sound of the starting gun until you cross the finish line.

• Netto time: From when you cross the starting line until you cross the finish line.

SHOWERS AND CHANGING FACILITIES AFTER THE RACE

There will be no facilities for showers or changing after the race.

PRIZES/FINISH TIME BONUS

For the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half, there is a time bonus of 1,000 DKK awarded to the top 20 runners:

• Men: Faster than 1:14:59 (gross time)

• Women: Faster than 1:29:59 (gross time)

To be eligible for the time bonus, the race bib must be worn visibly on the stomach.

Total prize pool: 52,000 DKK.

FOR HALF MARATHON PARTICIPANTS WITH TIMES UNDER 1:10:00 – RUN WITH ME

As a half marathon participant, you are not allowed to run with a Run With Me participant if your time is under 1:10:00. Failure to comply with this rule will result in disqualification of the participant.

GROUP/CORPORATE REGISTRATION

The race is sold out. It was possible for companies or larger groups to register for the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half under a group/corporate registration. This applies to groups of 10 participants or more. This can simplify the registration process and allows for payment via invoice. If you wish to inquire about group/corporate registration, please contact info@aarhusmotion.dk.

The participant fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to the following year. Registration is binding, and the participant fee cannot be refunded. This also applies if the event is canceled or interrupted due to force majeure. T-shirts will not be sent.

It is allowed to transfer or resell your race bib. However, it is not allowed to sell or resell tickets at a markup in Denmark according to the "Act on Resale of Tickets for Cultural and Sports Events." Aarhus Motion strongly distances itself from this! If this occurs, Aarhus Motion reserves the right to cancel the race bib and remove the participant from the start list. In case of force majeure, the participant fee cannot be refunded.
